With over two years experience as an Intimacy Professional, I bring a wealth of expertise in advocacy, creative problem solving and choreography. I’ve also completed my Level 3 training with Intimacy Coordinators Canada, and have done over 300 hours of training in workshops with IDC, TIE, Intimacy on Stage and Screen, and more!
My mission is to foster respectful spaces where boundaries are honoured, aligning with the production’s vision and its commitment to ethical practices. My approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and best practices, ensuring that diverse perspectives are respectful and integrated into the production process.
In my role, I’ve adeptly managed sensitive situations, ensuring that closed set protocols are rigorously followed and that the needs of the productions are met. Moreover, that the director’s vision come to life while simultaneously respecting the actors boundaries. Through organizing workshops on consent and boundaries, I’ve empowered cast and crew with the knowledge and skills to maintain a professional and safe working environment. Additionally, my volunteer work, and community outreach work further showcase my ability to build meaningful industry relationships.

Additionally, collaboration with the production team is crucial to ensure that cast and crew has what they need for intimate scenes, closed set/closed rehearsals protocols are in place and best practices are followed.
I facilitate discussions about the intimate scenes, helping to choreograph movements and actions that are true to the story while prioritising the well-being of all individuals involved. I may also provide resources and support for intimacy rehearsals, advocate for performers' needs on set, and help maintain a respectful and professional atmosphere throughout filming or rehearsals. By promoting open communication and consent, I help create a collaborative and empowering environment where intimacy can be portrayed authentically and responsibly.

Absolutely, as an actor you can and should ask for an Intimacy Professional when working on scenes that involve intimacy and you feel the need for one. Intimacy Professionals are trained to navigate these delicate situations with care and expertise, allowing actors to focus on their performances without worrying about personal boundaries being crossed.
